For Dr. Seuss’ birthday on March 2nd, I thought I’d do a Seuss-ish themed storytime.
After we read a trimmed down version of Green Eggs & Ham we are going to use this felt board to work with colors, because not all eggs are green!
I’ve seen the rhyme around a few places, so I’m not sure where it originated from:
Sam-I-Am, Sam-I-Am, I do so like ____ eggs and ham!
Each time we change the color, the yolk of the egg changes too. I made green, blue, red, orange and yellow yolks.
So simple and fun!
