Hi Guys,
So I could not resist creating a flannel board of this cute new board book by Jennifer Sattler. Bundle Up just longed to be a flannel board! It’s perfect too because it is all about a hippo getting bundled up for the cold weather.
I could have drawn each of the pieces on the felt itself but I decided to put them on paper first, so feel free to use these as a template…
From there it was just a matter of getting my colors straight. And voila!
If you read the book, you will notice that our lovely hippo steals the carrot off a snowman at the end. I didn’t feel like I needed a snowman for my flannel board but any generic snowman (without a nose) would work if you wanted to include it.
This is going to be a fun one, especially for the little guys and will go great for any snow, getting dressed or bundled up storytime theme.
