Sometimes, I come across a book and I have to revolve my whole theme around it. This is an oldie but a goodie.

I always put this one on as I go to open the door. Its a nice, slow, peaceful song to wind down on.


How’d it go:

This one went really well. I had a nice range of ages, so there was really a little bit for everyone. A tip – at the end of the Dust Bunny book, everyone like gasped that the vacuum got the dust bunnies. So I told everyone we could save the dust bunnies by helping them rhyme with the props from the authors website I printed out. This seemed to make everyone happy. If you don’t do something like that to save the dust bunnies… I might skip the vacuum page.
