Out of Shapes – Flannel Board

Every once in a while I come across a book that I just have to make a flannel board for and Out of Shapes by Ashley G. is one of them.

Such an easy one to do too. Just make a bunch of different sized shapes. If you want to follow the book keep the colors the same… yellow circles, blue squares, red triangles and orange rectangles.

Here are my versions of the first four pages of the book:

I think this one will work best if you have all your shapes out around the edges of the flannel board and you put them together as you go. This way you can show how a house can turn into a rocket, a rocket into a robot, etc.

Not sure when I will use this one, but it is now part of my repertoire!

That’s all for now!
